Recently, at the Massachusetts Hockey Awards Dinner, Paul Jerome and Steve Moore were honored as Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year! These honors have never been given to two coaches from the same association! We know them as fantastic Midget coaches, dedicated board members, diligent tournament directors and of course for the unending hours they put into Learn To Skate (when their children last skated in the program more than 10 years ago!!) They are pictured here with their wives, who we also thank for the commitment they have made to Holy Name Hockey through their husband’s endeavours and many of their own! When you see them, thank them!

Remember this Holy Name Hockey facebook account is for sharing pictures and videos, scores, hockey news, etc. We will be very strict regarding what content is posted. Any pictures posted should be of YOUR CHILD only unless you have the express permission from other children’s parents. Please only post a child’s first name for Internet security purposes. Parents should remember that children may also view this page (especially the 13+ age-group) so ALL posts must contain appropriate content. Even though evaluations are finished, there are still opportunities for your child to be placed on a team at ANY LEVEL at Holy Name Hockey. All players who register and complete an ice contract after evaluations take place will be placed on the lowest team in their age bracket. During the first week of practices (in September) you can request that evaluators review your child and make decisions on their proper placement. Numbers and open slots may vary by age bracket. Contact our Registrar or President for more information, by clicking on the “Executive Board” link on the menu.

Learn to Skate
Our new registration forms are available here for 2010-2011 Learn-To-Skate Season!! You can register now for the season using our registration form above – practices will begin in September! Go to the Learn to Skate page and learn more information and see this year’s registration form. Our price remains at $99 from September through March–and includes a Halloween skate, Xmas skate, and ends with a medal ceremony!!
